Powerful Interface for PCs
The module CAN-PCI/266 is a low cost PC board designed for 66 MHz PCI bus systems. It uses a PCI bus width of 32 bits. The module can also be used in 33 MHz PCI bus systems at a bus speed of 33 MHz.
CAN Interface
The ISO 11898 compliant CAN interfaces allow a data transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s. Among many other features, the bit rate can be set by software. The CAN interface is electrically isolated from the other potentials.
Software Support
Software drivers are available for Windows, Linux and QNX.
Drivers for other operating systems are available as well.
Please note: The maximum effective CAN bit rate value may be limited by the performance of the host CPU, because this is a passive CAN module without a microcontroller on board.
