Powerful Interface for PCs The module CAN-PCI/266 is a low cost PC board designed for 66 MHz PCI bus systems. It uses a PCI bus width of 32 bits. The module can also be used in 33 MHz PCI bus systems at a bus speed of 33 MHz. CAN Interface The ISO 11898 compliant CAN interfaces allow a data transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s. Among many other features, the bit rate can be set by software. The CAN interface is electrically isolated from the other potentials. Software Support Software drivers are available for Windows®, Linux® and QNX®. Drivers for other operating systems are available as well. Please note: The maximum effective CAN bit rate value may be limited by the performance of the host CPU, because this is a passive CAN module without a microcontroller on board.Drivers are available for several operating systems (See attachment for Software Support).
